This is a sports car, inspired by the
TVR. Screenshot from Connector, with Persuade-based shading enabled. For best results, open the Settings dialog (middle-click mouse on background, then pick Settings from the pop-up menu) and maximize the Complexity slider. The red paint is rather life-like, and has very nice reflections when hit by light. There are some known rendering artifacts on the windscreen, which is due to the use of transparancy inside a single object. This object uses
multiple materials, and might be instructive if you want to see how that is set up.
The car again, but this time split into separate objects for the body and the tires (five objects, total). This means it becomes possible to "steer" the car by rotating the front tires.
